January 21-25, 2019
During our second week, we had the chance to share something about the Philippines to the students. We shared some practices, food, lifestyle, and national symbols of the Philippines. We also taught them some Tagalog words like the greetings. We also had the chance to collaborate and make lesson plan and prepare instructional materials together with our co-student-teachers from Undiksha. It was also in our second week when we assisted our supervising teacher in teaching and in making and preparing instructional materials.
Balinese Traditional Clothes
I really feel like a true Balinese! In Bali, they use their traditional clothes as their uniform during Thursdays and I feel so lucky for having the chance to wear one. Indonesians and Filipinos are Asians, and we have the same features, that's why some people thought that we were really Balinese whenever we wear these clothes. There was excitement for me, for my friends, and for our supervising teachers when we first wore these clothes. We were very happy for this experience.
