The establishment of the school Laboratory began with the establishment of the Widyasthana Laboratory Elementary School by the FKg-FIP Foundation, Udayana University on July 4, 1970. On January 13, 1971 it changed to Laboratory Elementary School. With the issuance of UNUD Rector's Decree No 25 / SK / PD / UNUD / 1976, and on November 6, 1976 the School was officially made "Service Department" of UNUD.

In 1977 the UNUD Singaraja Middle School Laboratory was established, in 1980 the UNUD Singaraja High School Laboratory was built, so that since 1980 the School of Laboratory has a school level starting from Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle School and High School.

In 2006 the Singaraja State Teachers' Training College changed its status to Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (UNDIKSHA), so the Laboratory school also changed its name from the Singaraja State IKIP Laboratory School to the UNDIKSHA Laboratory School Singaraja.

Carry out effective learning and guidance as well as remedial and enrichment programs so students can develop optimally according to their potential. Completing and reviewing and perfecting school curriculum documents in the form of book I and book II, such as KKM, annual program, semester, RPP syllabus, education calendar and other documents.
